SINGAPORE, 19 NOVEMBER 2008 — Asia Conference opened its doors to the public at 9am on 19 November with hundreds of people thronging the registration booths in a bid to seal their place in the conference.
By 10.30am, both Hall 7 and Foyer 3 were packed with about 5,000 people queuing up and hundreds more arriving in truckloads waiting for their opportunity to be registered.
Despite the long wait, every delegate expressed a desire to encounter God and have their life transformed so that they could carry the anointing, passion and love of God to effect the same change in their families and the marketplace.
Soon Kwon, a South Korean from Grace Hill Community Church, said, “God impressed upon me to listen to Pastor Kong’s sermons and I have been doing so every day since. The Asia Conference is an opportunity to listen to anointed preachers and receive something from God.”
Arnold Santos, a delegate from central Philippines, was thrilled by God’s provision through an attendee of City Harvest Church who sponsored him with an all-expenses paid trip to Singapore for the Conference. For him, it was nothing less than a miracle and an opportunity of a lifetime.
City Harvest Church member Phoebe Yee, a secondary school teacher, believes that God will move mightily in her life to bring about breakthroughs in her career.

Delegates were welcomed by enthusiastic greeters and ushers attired in their funky-looking iServe t-shirts into an air-conditioned Hall 7, where the dimmed lighting and music created a warm ambience conducive for fellowship.
