A big welcome to all our local and overseas delegates that have come to join us for our CGI-Asia Conference 2010! This is our second time organizing the event and as at press time, delegates from 70 countries, representing 2,086 churches, have already registered for the conference.
This five-day event from May 26 to 30 will see an exciting program of sessions and activities awaiting one and all. Some of the largest ministries in Asia are coming together for the first time. Joined by Church Growth International, an organization founded by Dr. David Yonggi Cho in 1976, Asia Conference promises to impart the Holy Spirit’s anointing coupled with revelational teachings from the Word of God. What a great week it is going to be!
This year, CGI-AC 2010 welcomes an impressive line-up of distinguished guests. First and foremost, we are honored to have Dr. David Yonggi Cho and Dr. Kim Sung-Hae, co-founders of the 830,000-member Yoido Full Gospel Church, the world’s largest church in history. We are very grateful to Dr. Paul H.J. Kim, the Executive Director of CGI, for bringing the event to Singapore to partner with us. We also welcome prolific speakers like A.R. Bernard, Reinhard Bonnke, Lee Young-Hoon, Phil Pringle, Prince Guneratnam, John Avanzini, Richard Bernal, Mark Conner, Ken Eldred, Kim Sung-Hae, Steve Munsey, Christine Pringle, David Sumrall, Robb Thompson, Casey Treat, Theo Wolmarans and Beverley Wolmarans, along with many others.

CGI-AC 2010 will also offer a comprehensive selection of electives, ranging from personal excellence to church ministries, to marketplace leadership and family life. We have also added in new electives such as dramatized preaching, women’s ministry, and revival to the Chinese world to cater to the varied interests of our delegates. We hope that the various workshops and lifestyle activities will inspire and motivate you to maximize your potential in every sphere of life for the glory of God.
CGI-AC 2010 has a three-fold purpose:
1. To equip and train pastors and leaders in Asia to build exciting, growing churches, each with a spiritual atmosphere of faith and purity, where every member is discipled in the Great Commandment to fulfill the Great Commission.
2. To inspire believers to engage their culture and be relevant to their society, shining as salt and light in their towns and cities; to establish ministries that are innovative and contemporary, while remaining holy and consecrated to the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. To celebrate the talents, gifts and abilities that God has given to us individually, as we witness the testimonies and performances of our marketplace leaders and Asian celebrities alike. We seek to cast a vision that we can all be creative, colorful and yet spiritual disciples of Christ, embracing these God-given talents and using them for the redemptive purpose of God.
Jeremiah 29:13 says, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” It is my prayer that CGI-AC 2010 will bless and minister to all our delegates at all levels. Come with faith and expectancy for every session, believing for spiritual breakthroughs for you and your loved ones. It will be a life-changing week of continuous Spirit-filled encounters with God! It will be a week where your spirit, soul and body will be recharged with a fresh touch from the Lord.
Most of all, CGI-AC 2010 seeks to motivate Christians to be better people and followers of Jesus. The greatest motivator of all is LOVE. We want to motivate all delegates to love God more, to love one another more, and to love the Body of Christ more. By the love of God that is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, we can and will change our world—one soul at a time.
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love” (1 Cor. 13:13).
