The C.O.P.E. service of City Harvest Community Services Association organized a Dumpling Festival Block Party on June 6, Sunday, at the landing of Block 54, Pine Close. One hundred and fifty residential folks turned out nice and early at 10 a.m. to celebrate the festive occasion. CHCSA’s volunteers entertained the crowd with performances such as a magic show, a yoyo performance, a flute performance as well as song items by duo—Huisan & Nelson. The residents were treated to a buffet spread and had fun participating in games such as “Dumpling Wrapping Competition” and “Dumpling Fishing.” Guest of honor for the event was Mr. Lim Biow Chuan, Member of Parliament for the Marine Parade GRC.
