Cool de Sac and Bistro Cool offer parents and kids lots of room to play, eat and hang out with friends.
Occupying 14,000 square feet of space, Cool de Sac is a children’s entertainment center that offers a wide array of play options and activity stations for children, from toddlers to tweens.
But it’s not just the kids that get to hang out. The Cool de Sac concept is a place of relaxation for both children and parents. Its tagline is “Eat Well. Play Smart.”, so while the young ones “Play Smart”, their parents “Eat Well.”
Cool de Sac Singapore is a franchise that originated from Miami, Florida that has branches in places like Mexico and Colombia (Qatar and Venezuela will open later this year). Singapore is the first in Asia to enjoy the Cool de Sac experience.
Bistro Cool takes “family restaurant” a notch up with offerings of puree for very young children, toddler meals and kids meals. The adult menu eschews the typical warmed-over pasta bolognese for upmarket offerings such as Wagyu beef sandwiches on Panini bread, Margarita Shrimp Salad and Blue Mussels Laksa. Parents will find it easy to linger while they wait for their children, perhaps indulging in a brownie to pass the time.
At City Harvest Church’s services on March 15 and 16, executive pastor Aries Zulkarnain told the church, “CityPlay Pte Ltd, which runs Cool de Sac and Bistro Cool, is a subsidiary of The Ink Room (TIR), formed in partnership with a successful local entrepreneur. Its board of directors include Pastor Bobby Chaw and Chee Chi Keong Henry of The Ink Room, who serve on a voluntary basis and do not receive remuneration for their directorships.
“The two shareholders of CityPlay Pte Ltd are TIR and the entrepreneur. Yearly dividends from CityPlay Pte Ltd’s profits will be paid to this investor and to TIR. TIR will then plough these monies back into the Cool de Sac cum Bistro Cool business. The Ink Room is owned by City Harvest Church through its business arm; hence, CityPlay Pte Ltd’s success will also benefit CHC.”
Cool de Sac and Bistro Cool offer CHC members a great option to fellowship with their families, cell groups and friends after service, enjoying good food as the kids play.
Cool de Sac opened its doors to the public last Saturday (March 15) at a very successful soft opening.
