Support patients suffering from blood cancer and sign up for this walkathon.
On June 26, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation will be holding a walkathon to raise funds.
In order to provide financial assistance to patients who undergo curative treatments ranging from $30,000 to $70,000, the Foundation is looking to raise $1m this year. Since its inception, the Foundation has helped more than 500 patients receive treatment for blood cancers, namely leukemia, lymphoma and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
The walkathon kicks off at 8.30am at Siloso Beach, Sentosa. Registration fees are $28 (adults) and $18 (children). All registration fees collected will go towards funding for patients’ treatment at government hospitals. Details and online registration are available at www.llfwalkathon.com.
