City Harvest Church members have every reason to look forward to the church-wide Bible study on the book of Ezekiel.

Beginning in March this year, some 6,000 City Harvesters made their way to Jurong West to attend a church-wide Bible study taught by the church’s very own senior pastor and founder, Kong Hee. The Bible study is based on the book of Ezekiel [written between 593 and 565 B.C.], one of the Old Testament prophets whom God sent to prophecy to the children of Israel of impending doom.
On why he chose to teach on this particular book of the Bible, Kong explained to his congregation during the first of five lessons, “The book of Ezekiel is a book very few Christians read; it is often neglected.” Kong added later that the book of Ezekiel contains many “spiritual truths that apply to our day and time in which we live. Therefore, the study of Ezekiel has great relevance to our current time period.”
The book of Ezekiel is made up of four parts: Prophecy against Judah (Ez. 1 – 24); Prophecy against foreign nations (Ez. 25 – 32); Restoration of Israel (Ez. 25 – 32); and The Millennium Temple (Ez. 40-48). Having already completed parts 1 and 2 in March and April, Kong will continue the rest of the sessions in the months of May, June and July.
Touching on topics such as the grace and redemption of Christ, end-time prophecies, God’s judgment and mercy, and more, the Bible study has moved many of the CHC members on a deep spiritual level (see comments from members below).
Look out for the next session on the book of Ezekiel happening in June. A complete audio CD album will be launched by Attributes Pte Ltd two weeks after the final session in July.
