In his re-examination today, Chew Eng Han reiterated that the church’s board members were in full support of everything that had been done in furthering the Crossover Project.
Chew Eng Han continued to rebut the prosecution’s claims that the ARLA was sham.
Chew Eng Han fought the prosecution’s attempts to determine that the Advance Rental License Agreement and the Special Opportunities Fund were sham.
On the 100th day of the CHC trial, the prosecution’s case becomes clearer. One of its key points is that it thinks the bonds were sham because the accused never believed the bonds could be redeemed.
Court proceedings resumed today with the prosecution’s cross-examination of former church fund manager Chew Eng Han, who maintains the legality of the bonds he constructed and the auditors’ knowledge of it.
